A bit about me and my creative practice.
I’m Rachel, an Irish fashion and textile designer working under the name anracheleile. My practice brings together textile design, garment making, illustration, and art direction, focusing on creating original prints and turning them into wearable pieces.
Barcelona has been a big influence on my work. I’m drawn to the bright colours, plants, outdoor living, and the feeling of being somewhere a little bit magical. I take inspiration from the places I spend time in, the things I notice, and the colours and patterns that stay with me.
I studied Fine Art Painting at NCAD, developing my creative practice! My painting background continues to influence how I approach textiles, from designing prints to experimenting with fabric, colour, and form.
